Why Read The Bible?

We grow closer to others only as we spend time with them and invest effort into the relationship. Being intentional about reading God’s Word means that we are making time for God daily. Time to hear from Him and understand what He wants for our lives. Jesus promises that as we look to the Holy Scriptures they will point to Him. The more we know Jesus the better we are at following Him.

the 260challenge

In this New Year we are challenging our entire church to read through the New Testament. There are 260 chapters in the New Testament and 260 weekdays in 2023. Starting January 2nd we will begin a particular reading plan, found below, to align our time in God’s word as a community. Each weekday we will read one chapter from our reading plan and take the weekends to reflect and apply what we’ve learned. We can also use the weekends to catch up if we missed a day.
